About Meiji University Students and Alumni Participating in the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games

Meiji University’s athletics association is active in university baseball, rugby, the Hakone Ekiden, and other popular competitions transcending the boundaries of university sports. With 43 clubs at present, the association has produced numerous athletes and instructors, and has long played a role in spearheading Japan’s world of sports.
The following Meiji University students and graduates have been slated to participate in the 30th Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, to be held in London from July 27, 2012. We have high hopes for their success.
