On May 17, the School of Commerce hosted an international symposium entitled “New Developments and Career-Building in the Fashion Business” at Surugadai Campus Global Hall to mark the 110th Anniversary of the School’s foundation. Three speakers were invited: Richard Collasse, President of Chanel Japan; Nobuyuki Ota, Cool Japan Fund CEO; and Gachoucha Kretz, an associate professor at ISC Paris and a visiting professor at Meiji University School of Commerce. Approximately 500 attendees including those watching in lecture halls linked via video broadcast, gained a close-up look at the fashion business.
