On July 16, a group led by H.E. Mr. Ahmed Khaleel, Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to Japan, met with Meiji University personnel for informal talks in the Guest Room on the 23rd floor of Liberty Tower on the Surugadai Campus. The Meiji University personnel included President Kenichi Fukumiya, Vice President Etsuko Katsu (in charge of international exchanges), Keiji Kodama (Director-General of the Table Tennis Team in the Meiji University Athletics Association), and Toshikatsu Yanagisawa (General Manager of the Table Tennis Team and Professor of the School of Commerce). The two sides engaged in a lively exchange of views on ways to promote future interchange.
