At the 9th Refugee Film Festival sponsored by the Japan office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Meiji University, as a partner school, showed four films in the Izumi Library Hall on the two days October 17 and 18. The festival attracted an audience of over 400 (a cumulative total). The audience consisted not only of Meiji University students but also of many people from off campus. Non-Japanese hailing from countries where some of the films were shot could be spotted in the crowd.
