On March 31, Meiji University held a symposium to commemorate its selection for the “Top Global University Project” instituted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Titled “Fostering Mutual Understanding and Trust in East Asia – Towards an East Asia with Stable Prosperity,” the symposium was held in the Global Hall on the Surugadai Campus (with the support of parties including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Embassy).
