Holding of a symposium on the Meiji University Surugadai Campus: “Trump vs. Clinton – A Critical Look at the U.S. Presidential Election”

On July 8 (Fri.), the Public Relations Office of Meiji University is going to hold a symposium titled “Trump vs. Clinton – A Critical Look at the U.S. Presidential Election”
In July, both the Democratic and Republican parties will be staging their national conventions that will officially determine their respective candidates in the U.S. Presidential Election to be held in November of this year. The coming election is attracting keen attention around the world. Taking “Trump vs. Clinton” as its theme, the symposium will open with a keynote speech on the election outlook and implications for Japan by Dr. Motoo Unno, Professor of the Meiji University School of Political Science and Economics, who specializes in intercultural communication and also is versed in U.S. presidential elections. His speech will be followed by a panel discussion with experts from outside Meiji University.
