Meiji University and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil (http://jp.camaradojapao.org.br/) signed a memorandum for mutual partnership and cooperation in connection with the activities of Meiji University in Brazil. The objective is contribution to the promotion of economic and cultural interchange between Brazil and Japan, and to development and utilization of related human resources. The signature ceremony was held in a conference room at the Chamber’s office in Sao Paulo on May 4, 2017. The Meiji University participants consisted of Dr. Masami Kobayashi, Vice President (Comprehensive Academic Policy); Mariko Nakabayashi, President’s Staff; Masato Ninomiya, Special Advisor to the President; Goro Mutsuura, Special Advisor to the President; and eight members of the Brazilian Shikon-kai (Alumni Club) who are employees at companies that are members of the Chamber.
The ceremony program included a meeting for exchange of views. At this meeting, the participants looked back on the course of interchange with Meiji University since 2009 and discussed on setups for student internships and other approaches to promote effective cooperation Details and numerous photos of the ceremony are displayed on the Chamber’s website.
