The Meiji University Athletic Association Rowing Club competed in the 45th All Japan University Championship Rowing competition held at Toda Boat Course in Toda, Saitama on September 6-9, winning the Men’s Coxless Four and Women’s Double Sculls events.

In the “Women’s Double Sculls,” Hinako Takimoto (a fourth-year student in the School of Commerce) and Miharu Takashima (a third-year student in the School of Political Science and Economics), who competed as a representative of Japan in the 18th Asian Games (Jakarta) in August, competed as a pair.
