Director Yokota from the International Student Center Receiving the Award
An awards ceremony for the “Study in Japan Awards” was held on August 6 at the National Institution for the Promotion of Youth Education located in Shibuya ward, Tokyo. The awards were presented to top Japanese universities that were recommended by teachers and staff of Japanese language schools as universities for overseas students. Our University was chosen as the best university in the Arts and Humanities category (East Japan), which marked the second consecutive win for the University in the same category. The Graduate School of Political Science and Economics was also nominated in the Graduate School category.
