On October 5, with the support of the French Embassy in Japan and the Institut Francais du Japon, French Literature major in the School of Arts and Letters held a high school-university French experience course entitled “How to ’Be’ French II” at the Surugadai Campus Liberty Tower. Approximately 100 people, including high school students, participated.
This high school-university French experience course, currently in its fourth year, was planned for the purpose of increasing interaction with high school students who study French.
The theme this time was families in France, and there were two sections. In Section 1, the theme was “French Families, Japanese Families.” In Section 2, Assistant Professor Elise Domenach of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon presented a lecture entitled, “French Families as Seen through Film.”
