International PhD Workshop in Collaboration with the ODSC Group at the University of Sydney Business School

A PhD workshop was held in collaboration with the Organizational Discourse, Strategy and Change Group based at the University of Sydney Business School in Tokyo at Meiji University's Academy Common

Second International Conference of Engineering Business Management (ICEBM 2013)

Further to the resounding success of the first ICEBM conference in 2012, a second event was held under the auspices of GSBA and the Razak School of Engineering and Advanced Technology (UTM). It took place in the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

International Conference on Management Control Systems (University of South Australia)

GSBA has enjoyed a close relationship with the School of Management at the University of South Australia (UniSA), having facilitated a number of short term PhD exchanges to and from Adelaide since 2010. However, in recent months both GSBA and UniSA have been looking to expand the scope of collaboration, and discussions have begun with a number of other schools, departments and centers at UniSA involved with business research. One result of which was this conference on management control systems organized in collaboration with a professor of the International Graduate School of Business at UniSA.

International Research Collaboration Conference (Massey University)

Following a highly successful conference with Lancaster University in June, a second conference was hosted at Meiji in collaboration with the School of Management at Massey University in New Zealand on the 20th November, 2012. This event concluded an extremely busy, but satisfying year for GSBA which reinforced the international initiatives that have been taking place since 2009

First International Conference of Engineering Business Management (ICEBM 2012: UTM)

In order to further strengthen the relationship between GSBA and the Razak School of Advanced Technology and Engineering at UTM, one GSBA’s Double Degree Program partners, both institutions agreed to host an international conference that would be used as a platform to disseminate leading research in business administration and engineering. The event was hosted in the historic Malaysian city of Malacca, a world heritage site.

International Conference 2012: Doctoral Research on Organizational Change and Discourse (Lancaster University)

2012/06/24

Further to a visit to Lancaster University by doctorate students of GSBA in February, 2012, in order to participate in a research workshop on “Work, Employment and Human Resource Management”, lecturers and students from the Organization, Work and Technology Department of the Lancaster University Management School were invited to travel out to Meiji for a return event.

International Conference on Organizational Change and Reform (Cardiff University)

The Graduate School of Business Administration at Meiji University invited faculty and postgraduate students from the Cardiff Business School at Cardiff University to attend an international conference on “Organizational Change and Reform”. The conference was held on 3rd November 2011 in the Academy Common Building located on Meiji’s Surugadai Campus.

International symposium held in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of GSBA

The Graduate School of Business Administration (GSBA) at Meiji University celebrated the 50th anniversary since its foundation in 1959. In that time, GSBA has turned out 859 top graduates who have gone on to play leading roles in a diverse number of fields at top universities and companies both domestically and abroad, in the public sector and as certified public accountants and licensed tax accountants.
