The Graduate School of Political Science and Economics embraces a cross-disciplinary approach that combines political science, social science, economic science, and a host of other associated fields for a longitudinal academic structure that brings together a triumvirate of theory, history, and policy. The goal is to construct a comprehensive social science driven by education and research. Specifically, the school aims to foster highly original young scientists who are independent, creative, and innovative as well as sophisticated and highly discerning professionals who can make their mark in the global community. In working towards these goals, we hope to produce spirited researchers, international public servants, and journalists who can go out into the world embodying the Meiji University philosophy of strengthening the individual.
