“Global Human Resources” has become a hot topic among industries and within higher education. However, the question remains how to define the competencies by which people can lead a global society. In this symposium, we will discuss Learning Outcome Assessment; how the study abroad experience affects a student’s career development. In addition, we will deepen our understanding about competencies that global human resources possess. Finally, we will look at the ePortfolio, a tool that has been increasingly utilized in the US and Australia. We will introduce several case studies, and examine the potentials of ePortfolio, as a tool to visualize the learning outcomes gained through experience in international education programs.
