Education

1982 graduated Risshou University, B.A. Archaeology, History Department, Faculty of Literature.
2009 defended Ph. D. degree from the Tokyo Metropolitan University.

Employment

1982 Cultural Heritage Management Department, Odawara City Board of Education.
2010- present  Senior Curator of the Odawara Castle Museum

Current research

Main research area of science is Pleistocene and Palaeolithic archaeology.
Reconstruction of Palaeolithic chronology, and the research of changing aspects of obsidian exploitation in Sagamino Upland area.
Re-examination of lithic industries specifically on the lowermost Tachikawa-roam stratum X in the emergence period of early Upper Palaeolithic of the Japanese Islands.
