Mr. Takuto Matsuoka of the Miyashita Lab, School of Science and Technology wins the Interactive Presentation Award

At Interaction 2011 held by the Information Processing Society of Japan, Mr. Takuto Matsuoka, Miyashita Lab, Department of Computer Science, School of Science and Technology, Meiji University (currently at Digital Contents, Frontier Sciences and Innovation, Graduate School of Science and Technology) was presented with the Interactive Presentation Award after being selected by the program committee.

Mr. Matsuoka’s presentation, “A Space that Extends Musical Range of Whistle” uses a shotgun microphone, sound processing, and a parametric speaker to extend the musical range of whistling just by standing in one space.
