On January 21, a guidance program titled "Employment in International Institutions @ Meiji University" was held at the Liberty Tower on Surugadai Campus.  It was aimed at students aspiring to international careers as members of international institutions or overseas non-profit organizations.  The program attracted the participation of about 40 students who were enrolled in the Human Resource Development Program for International Cooperation or otherwise interested in international careers, and listened intently to the lectures.
The program was held as part of the Human Resource Development Program for International Cooperation, which was selected as one of the projects for joint promotion of education based on inter-university partnership by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
The program was led by Satoshi Ayabe, who holds a position at the International Organization Recruitment Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  A graduate of the School of Business Administration of Meiji University, Mr. Ayabe provides support for Japanese nationals seeking employment with international organizations.
