Dr. Moira von Wright, Vice-Chancellor of Södertörn University in Sweden, and other honorable guests visited the Surugadai Campus on April 18 following completion of an academic collaboration agreement and student exchange memorandum between the universities last year. Meiji University President Kenichi Fukumiya and Vice President Etsuko Katsu (in charge of international exchange) met with Vice-Chancellor Dr. von Wright in the Liberty Tower VIP room and confirmed plans to further strengthen ties between the universities.
After touring the campus, the Södertörn University group met at Global Front for a meeting with Dev Karnal Fridén, the first Södertörn University exchange student being hosted by Meiji University.
