On April 26 and May 24, a volunteer team composed of mainly first- and second-year students on Nakano Campus held Nakano House, a class to support learning by children who are foreign nationals or have recently returned from other countries and live near the campus, where the program was held.

Nakano House is designed for children in grades 4–6 of elementary school, who live in Nakano Ward, have roots in other countries, and feel apprehension about learning in Japanese. It not only provides an opportunity for learning while asking questions together with peers in a similar situation but also functions as an open-activity place where the children can come for recreation.
