Meiji university was selected for the 2014 Top Global University Project as a (type B) leading-global type university by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
The goal of the program is to strengthen the international competitiveness of Japan’s higher education and to develop world-class human resources. This will be accomplished by focusing support provided by MEXT on universities thoroughly promoting internationalization. This time, 24 schools, including this university, were selected as (type B) leading-global universities and 13 schools were selected as (type A) top universities.
