On October 27, the School of Arts And Letters co-hosted with the Austrian Embassy a monodrama entitled “Jonetsu ni Moeru Tamashii” (Spirit Burning with Passion; original title: Feuerseele) to commemorate 100 years since the death of Austrian peace activist Bertha von Suttner (1843–1914), who helped found the Nobel Peace Prize and was the first female recipient of the award. The monodrama, which depicts the life of Suttner, was held at Global Hall on Surugadai Campus.
