Holding of an international symposium titled “Japan, USA, China, and ASEAN Countries – What Should They Do Now?”– Keynote speech by former Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda
On April 6, the Meiji Institute for Global Affairs (MIGA) co-hosted an international symposium with the Tokyo Foundation. Titled “Japan, USA, China, and ASEAN Countries – What Should They Do Now? – Toward Peace and Advancement in the Asia-Pacific Region,” the symposium was staged in the Global Hall of the Surugadai Campus. The keynote speech by former prime minister Fukuda was followed by a panel discussion by front-line experts from inside and outside Japan. The venue was packed to capacity.
