Once every year, Homecoming Day is held to welcome Meiji University alumni and alumnae back to their alma mater. This year’s Homecoming Day was the 18th, and was held at the Surugadai Campus on October 18.A total of about 3,800 alumni and alumnae and their relatives came to the campus for the occasion.At the gathering, they had a good time being reunited with old friends and chatting with students who are their juniors.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Masao Mukaidono, Chairman of the Meiji University Alumni Association, said: “Returning to your alma mater is a very rewarding and heart-warming experience.Today, we hope that you will renew old acquaintances and leave with an even greater fondness for Meiji University.”
