Jun. 20, 2016

Meiji University placed No. 1 nationwide in rankings of universities that are popular with students, based on a survey conducted by UNIVPRESS (Daigaku Tsushin) with high school teachers throughout Japan. Meiji University was ranked first for the second time, and the first time since 2013.
UNIVPRESS (Daigaku Tsushin) conducted the survey with teachers engaged in academic counseling at about 2,000 high schools oriented toward preparing students for college nationwide. The detailed results are available for viewing on the Toyo Keizai ONLINE website. The reasons cited behind Meiji University’s No. 1 ranking include the conditioning of the campuses, institution of new schools, and approaches in aspects such as the setup for entrance exams.
