Notice of the Graduation Ceremony for the 2016 Academic Year

The Meiji University Graduation Ceremony for the 2016 Academic Year will be held as follows.      
Owing to the capacity of Nippon Budokan, there will be two ceremonies, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Notices of determination of graduation/completion of studies will be sent by post in the early part of March 2017, once these determinations have been made in the respective undergraduate and graduate schools. Please confirm the details of the Graduation Ceremony, which will be noted on the above notice of determination of graduation/completion of studies.  

Date: March 26, 2017 (Sun.)

Morning ceremony
Start: 10:00 AM (doors open one hour prior); Finish: 11:00 AM 
Schools of Law, Commerce, Business Administration, Information and Communication, Global Japanese Studies, and Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences


Afternoon ceremony
Start: 1:30 PM (doors open one hour prior); Finish: 2:30 PM
Schools of Political Science and Economics, Arts and Letters, Science and Technology, and Agriculture; Graduate Schools; Law School; and Professional Graduate School

* Attendance of ceremonies outside of enrolled Schools and Graduate Schools is not permitted.

Place: Nippon Budokan (2-3 Kitanomaru-Koen, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)

Access: Exit at the Kudanshita Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai and Hanzomon Lines or the Toei Subway Shinjuku Line
* Parking is not available on the site.

Requesting your cooperation: Owing to the limited capacity of Nippon Budokan, attendance by relatives will be restricted to two persons per student, in order to assure the safe execution of the ceremony.
When entering the venue, relatives are asked to present the Ticket for Relatives printed on the notice of the determination of graduation/completion of studies.
