Announcement of the Substitute Site for the FY2019 Graduation Ceremony and FY2020 Entrance Ceremony

Although our university has usually held graduation and entrance ceremonies at Nippon Budokan (Chiyoda City, Tokyo), the site will be unavailable for the FY2019 graduation ceremony (on March 23, 2020) and the FY2020 entrance ceremony (on April 7, 2020) owing to repair work in preparation for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020. We will hold the two ceremonies at Ryogoku Kokugikan (Sumida City, Tokyo) as a substitute site.
The details are as follows:

FY2019 Graduation Ceremony
Date: March 23, (Mon.) 2020
Site: Ryogoku Kokugikan (1-3-28 Yokoami, Sumida-ku, Tokyo)
Note: We will hold the ceremony at two separate time slots for undergraduate schools and graduate schools, in a morning session and an afternoon session.
   Morning session: Scheduled to start at 10:00
   Afternoon session: Scheduled to start at 14:00

FY2020 Entrance Ceremony
Date: April 7, (Tue.) 2020
Site: Ryogoku Kokugikan (1-3-28 Yokoami, Sumida-ku, Tokyo)
Note: We will hold the ceremony at three separate time slots for undergraduate schools and graduate schools, in a first session, a second session and a third session.
   First session: Scheduled to start at 9:30
   Second session: Scheduled to start at 12:45
   Third session: Scheduled to start at 16:00

We will announce the session for the graduation or entrance ceremony for your undergraduate or graduate school in October 2019. Please be aware that the scheduled start time of the ceremony sessions may be changed.
