University brand ranking—first choice university

Meiji University ranks top for the fifth year in a row by gender and by humanities and sciences

In the “university brand ranking by high school students” (university enrollment brand power study 2013) released by Recruit Shingaku Soken, a research institute specializing in higher education enrollment in Japan, on July 24, Meiji University ranked No.1 for the fifth year in a row for students’ first choice university in the Kanto area.
This study was conducted by Recruit Shingaku Soken by post targeting 74,000 senior year students in the three areas of Kanto, Tokai, and Kansai and gathering responses by about 10,000 students.
This year, Meiji University ranked No.1 in the female category as well as ranking No.1 in all categories by gender and by humanities and sciences. It is the first time for a single university to monopolize the top rankings in both gender categories and humanities and sciences categories in this study, which started in 2008.
