Mod’art Internationale President Visits
 Patrice de Place, President of “Mod’art Internationale”, a school in Paris, France, that specializes in the fashion business, visited the Surugadai Campus on October 21 and spoke to Meiji University students about the significance of studying fashion in Paris at Professor Kazuhiro Saito’s “Fashion Business Theory” class in the School of Commerce.
 
Intensive Course, “Fashion Business Practice: Fashion Business in the Asian Market,” also Offered
The School of Commerce offered a course entitled “Fashion Business Practice: Fashion Business in the Asian Market” for seven days from October 15. Professor Yang Yixiong of Donghua University in China, who specializes in fashion marketing, gave a lecture on fashion business trends in China and Asian markets in comparison with Japan and Europe and the United States.
