Windows利用者はすみやかにWindows Updateを実施してください（お願い）

マイクロソフト社から１２月のセキュリティ情報が公開されています。
この内容には、深刻度が「緊急」を要するセキュリティ的欠陥が含まれています。
従来、Windowsパソコンのセキュリティ的欠陥が発見される度に、新しいウィルスが何者かによって作成されてきました。
2003年に発生したBlasterウィルスの場合は、セキュリティ的欠陥を修正していないパソコンが、多数、存在していた為に、被害が学内全域に広がりました。これにより、多くのパソコンが機能不全に陥り、また、ネットワークが遅くなるなど、大きな影響がありました。
このようなウィルスの感染を防止するためには、
セキュリティ的な欠陥を修正するプログラム（Windows Update）を実行することが大切です。
Windowsパソコンを所有・管理している方は、
すみやかに、WindowsUpdateを実施してください。
特に、
ノートパソコンを大学に持ち込み、ネットワークに接続している方、自宅から大学へダイアルアップ（PPP）接続や、VPN接続を行っている方
も、忘れずに実行してください。
みなさんが管理・所有しているパソコンが、新たなウィルスの発生源と認定された場合は、正常な状態に回復したことが確認されるまで一時的に学内ネットワークへの接続を停止する、モバイルアカウントを停止する等の処置を取らせていただく可能性もあります。
