Studying Abroad Program for Meiji University Students

Foreign Language Skills (TOEFL®)

TOEFL®, the Test of English as a Foreign Language, is the English exam for those whose native language is not English. Many universities in English speaking countries require a certain TOEFL® score to accept foreign students. In Japan, students can regularly take the TOEFL®-iBT, Internet Based Testing, which consists of four sections of speaking, writing, listening and reading, and the score is effective for two years. See the URL below for information on registering for the exam over the internet. Candidates go to the venue to take the exam by computer, and the results are mailed about one month later. Candidates for the study abroad program must prepare the exam results in time to meet the application deadline. For further information, see
