First in series of symposiums to mark opening of Gender Center to take place on March 22nd ( 2010.3.22 )
Meiji University’s School of Information and Communication will hold a symposium to mark the opening of the Gender Center with Professor Axel Honneth of the Goethe University Frankfurt.
Professor Honneth is the director of the Institute for Social Research, has worked on a formulation for the theory of intersubjective recognition, and is attempting to open a new dimension to Critical Social Theory. Professor Honneth is recognized throughout the world for his work on themes such as gender, social justice and social pathology.
