Meiji University takes number 1 place in University Applicant Rankings in Nikkei Shingaku Navi poll of high school students ( 2009.11.30 )

Nikkei Shingaku Navi, a joint collaboration between Nikkei HR and Disco, carried out a poll of current high school students (623 boys, 959 girls) on November 30th 2009 to find out their impressions of universities across Japan. Meiji University topped the poll in the University Applicant Rankings.

Meiji University was also ranked in the following sections:

  • Schools and departments which meet the needs of the times: Nationwide 1st, East Japan 1st
  • Positive approach to practical lessons: Nationwide 3rd, East Japan 2nd
  • Active support in helping students find employment: Nationwide 1st, East Japan 1st
  • Active in education cultivating common sense in young adults: Nationwide 5th, East Japan 6th
  • Active in foreign language education: Nationwide 7th, East Japan 6th
