Entrance of the Center

The Meiji University ASEAN Center was established inside our partner institution, Srinakharinwirot University in order to provide opportunities for a wide range of Japanese and ASEAN nations’ students to study together.

The center is a base for implementing the Inter-University Exchange Project (Re-Inventing Japan Project) – Support for the Formation of Collaborative Programs with ASEAN Universities advocated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan in FY 2012. This program aims to nurture competent leaders with practical abilities in both Japan and ASEAN nations who can demonstrate tough first-line competence in practical fields and acquire literacy related to Japan and Southeast Asian Nations, and who also can act as a bridge between Japan and ASEAN nations at both the nation and local level.
