School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences

The School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences works from the principle of social contribution through creating, developing, and communicating insights from the mathematical sciences. Students will develop as professionals with a solid understanding of how society works while gaining cutting-edge knowledge and skills in mathematical and information-based (computer) fields. They can then use this foundation to actively work within today’s global society, discovering problems on their own addressing them. The School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences offers a new kind of education, one that challenges students to develop mathematical and logical ideas from a multilayered perspective one that goes beyond the natural sciences alone and targets the real problems facing our communities and humankind itself.
