Approximately 31 hours in total  (Lectures 21hrs, Field trips 10hrs)

Class Information

Number of Participants

    25 participants per session. (25 /Sesson1, 25 /Session2 = total 50 paticipants)

Language used

    English (Ability or knowledge of the Japanese language is not required)

Program Level

    Introductory Level


University students attending an accredited overseas university.

University graduates from accredited overseas university.

Must be 18 years old or over as of July 1/ July 29, 2019.

No prior knowledge of Japanese Law is required.

No Japanese language skill is required. (All lectures are conducted in English.)

Program Supporter

Meiji law students (both undergraduates and graduates) will support throughout the program. They will join the lectures and on-campus activities, such as parties and accompany the participants on the field trips.


For visa application, basically, Meiji University will provide ONLY the letter of invitation.
