Lecture and Field Trip
The program consists of lectures and field trips. A number of important contemporary issues for discussion will be presented in each lecture. In addition, our field-trips will provide excellent opportunities for participants to grasp how law and legal systems work in Japan through visiting a variety of destinations in Tokyo area, such as Tokyo District Court.
Approximately 28 hours in total
Lecture (20hrs):
Business Law (Banking), Civil Procedure, Company Law, Competition Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and Prison System in Japan, Family Law, Institutional & Administrative Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Law, Judicial System, Law and Information Technologies, Language and Law, Legal Ethics, Torts
Field trip (8hrs):
Intellectual Property High Court, Patent Office/Toky District Public Prosecutors Office, A Law Firm, a Prison, the Legislative Bureau of the House of Representatives and the National Diet
