In particular, the program seeks to sustain the interest of international students in Japan over the long term, inspiring them for future long-term stays or employment in Japan through the practice of PBL learning to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture and soft power. The ultimate goal is to promote mutual understanding between Japan and ASEAN countries, fostering global talent that serves as a bridge between the two regions.

Global-scale streaming services for anime spread global fans and contributes to the increasing interest in original manga works. International Student Center actively collaborates with the library, disseminating information about manga-related events to international students when they organize.
