Changes for English Track 2020 Admission


The 2019 September (TRANSFER) Admissions is the last time for the School of Global Japanese Studies to hold admissions for transfer students. 

The School of Global Japanese studies will not accept transfer students from 2020 Admissions.

Changes for English Track 2019 Admission


The requirement for the official standardized test score/examination for English Track will be changed in 2019 admission (including Transfer Admission).

From the English Track 2019 Admissions (including Transfer Admission), ALL applicants must submit the original certificate of one of the following official standardized tests.
Please note that applicants who are attending or had attended a higher education institution (college: Associate degree or equivalent, or university: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) MUST also submit the official standardized test.

i) SAT (SAT Reasoning Test)
ii) ACT
iii) International Baccalaureate (IB)
iv) Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
*EJU: Only applicants who have non-Japanese nationality can submit EJU scores.
(The examination language must be English.)

*Only standardized tests listed above (SAT, ACT, IB or EJU) are accepted. Any other standardized tests are NOT acceptable.

Eligibility Screening

If applicants have any questions or concerns about their eligibilities, such as having a complicated academic background, please fill out the Application Form for Eligibility Screening(Click to download) and send it to inakanok@mics.meiji.ac.jp by two weeks prior to the beginning of each application period.

Please note that it takes some time to review applications for eligibility screening.

Special Grant for Privately Funded International Students 2019 Academic Year

Grantees for the Special Grant for Privately Funded International Students 2019 Academic Year will be selected from successful applicants for the 2019 Admission / School of Global Japanese Studies -English Track-.
