1. Important Notice

• The School of Global Japanese Studies will stop April intake of English Track students from Academic Year 2026 onwards (View the announcement from here).
• The School of Global Japanese Studies does not accept transfer students.
• Applicants cannot transfer credits from other institutions.

2. September 2026 Admission

Online Application Period and Payment of Screening Fee

Deadline for Application Documents, Including English Proficiency Test and Standardized Test Official Score Reports March 11, 2026, 4:59 pm (JST)
Announcement of 1st Screening Results May 19, 2026, 10:00 am (JST)
2nd Screening Interview May 30, 2026 (JST)
Announcement of Admission Results June 23, 2026, 10:00 am (JST)

(3) Eligibility Screening

First, review the 'A. Education' section (page 6) under application eligibility in the Application Guidelines.
If you have questions or concerns about your educational application eligibility after reviewing the Application Guidelines and the FAQ (SGJS English Track Admissions), for example, about a complicated academic background, please explain your concerns and submit the complete Application Form for Eligibility Screening by email.
Please note that this eligibility screening does not affect the admission results. Even if you are considered “eligible,” you may still be deemed “ineligible” at the time of application upon detailed review of your submitted application documents.
What to submit Submit the following documents as email attachments, not cloud links.
► Application Form for Eligibility Screening (Excel) *Ensure all sections are filled out.
► We strongly encourage you to submit copies of your high school graduation certificate, transcript, or other academic qualifications as well.
Deadline 3 weeks before the online application begins.

Important Information on Inquiries

  1. Please carefully read the Application Guidelines and check the FAQ (SGJS English Track Admissions) / FAQ for Future Students before making inquiries via email.
  2. Inquiries should only be made via e-mail by the applicants themselves.
  3. Inquiries from agents, parents, guardians, teachers, or school representatives are strictly prohibited and will receive no response. 
  4. Inquiries via phone are not available, as we may need time to provide accurate answers and maintain a record of communication.

問い合わせに関する注意事項

  1. まずはApplication Guidelines及びFAQ (SGJS English Track Admissions) / FAQ for Future Studentsを確認してください。入学試験要項(Application Guidelines)及びFAQは英語版のみで提供しており、日本語版や翻訳はございません。
  2. 問い合わせは、受験生本人からメールにてお願いします。
  3. 代理人、親・保護者、教員、学校関係者などからの問い合わせはお受けできません。
  4. 回答に時間を要する場合や、やり取りの記録を残すため、電話での問い合わせはご遠慮ください。
