Workshop proceedings are in the editorial process for the BAR International Series.
Following from the discussion at the First International Workshop, “Methodological issues of obsidian provenance studies and the standardization of geologic obsidian”, we decided to prepare the proceedings for publication in the British Archaeological Reports (BAR) International Series, Archaeopress, Oxford. This is a substantial follow-up or development version of the obsidian volume of the BAR International Series 2152 (eds. Y. Kuzmin and Glascock) in 2010. The proceedings will make a certain contribution to future obsidian analysis, and serve as a sound basis for archeological interpretation. Our application was successful and this work is now in the process of being edited.
