Course Registration / Change / Withdrawal

For the New Academic Year

Information about course registration, course syllabus and relevant necessary administrative procedures will be available on this website. For the coming academic year, information will be updated around the beginning of April.

Course Registration

(1) Read carefully "Course Regsitration Guideline" before starting registration procedure.

(2) Register online at Online Registration System during a specific registration period.
*Registration period is only once throughout a whole academic year.
*Classes for both Spring and Fall Semesters must be registered.
*Both Special Courses and Main Courses must be registered online.

【Online Course Registration Period】
 April 14th 2018 (Sat)13:00pm to April 17th 2018 (Tue) 9:00am
*NO LATE REGISTRATION can be accepted.

(3) In addition to online registration, I-AUD Master 1st year students are required to submit "Course Plan" to the Nakano Academic Affairs Office in Nakano Campus during the registration period.

Correction of Course Registration

Corrections of registered courses for 2018 Fall Semester can be done by submitting a designated paper-based form.
 *Correction cannot be done via internet.

【NOTE】
  Classes of other graduate schools/ universities, and common classes cannot be withdrawn.

【Correction Period】
  September 21st (Fri.) to 28th (Fri.), 2018   During office hours
   *No late registration can be accepted.

  Nakano Academic Affairs Office (during office hours only)   *I-AUD students only

Class Withdrawal

If students wish to withdraw any classes after a period of course registration is over,  they can withdraw up to 8 credits per one academic year by submitting a designated form to the office of School of Science and Technology during a specific period.

[NOTE]
(1)If you delete any classes during a period of error correction, those credits will not be included in the above mentioned "8 credits."
(2)Classes of other graduate schools/universities and common classes cannot be withdrawn. 

【Withdrawal Period】
Fall Semester: 15th(Mon.) and 16th (Tue.) October 2018
*No late withdrawal can be accepted.

Courses for Paper-Based Registration

Classes listed below need to be registered by submitting a paper-based registration form to the office. Some classes require student's supervisor's permission stamp on the form and it is strongly advised that students prepare the form well in advance. Once registered, these classes CANNOT BE WITHDRAWN.

【Category of Courses】

・Courses of other graduate school of Meiji University
Have your supervisor's permission stamp on the registration form, ask the course registration number at the SST office and submit during the registration period. 

・Courses common to all graduate schools of Meiji University
Ask course registration number at the SST office and submit duiring the registration period. There are two types of course numbers and students need to choose a necessary one depending on whether they wish to include the credits in graduation requirements or not.

・Common core courses (Undergraduate courses)
Have both supervisor's and the course teacher's permission stamps on the registration form  called "受講許可願" (Application for Permission of Course Registration) and submit to the SST office. Students should check the Meiji University Graduate Schools Catalog for registration notes.

・Courses of other university's graduate schools
Each host university has own registration deadline and students are required to consult with the SST office well in advance.
