International exchange students trying out ikebana, using thunbery spirea, rose and leather fern
On June 10, five international exchange students took part in an Ikebana Workshop hosted by the Center for International Students at the Nakano Campus International Lounge.
The International Student Center hosts a variety of events with the aim of promoting experiences of Japanese culture for international exchange students and interaction with Japanese students. We invited a teacher from the Ichiyo School of Ikebana. International exchange students from Italy and China took part. The students learned about Japanese culture through ikebana and strengthened their friendships.
