On the two days of July 10 and 11, the Centre for Business Information Ethics (headed by Kiyoshi Murata, Professor of the School of Commerce) held the 4th International Conference of the Asia Privacy Scholars Network in Liberty Tower on the Surugadai Campus, with the support of Privacy Laws and Business.
The Conference brings together privacy scholars from throughout the Asia-Pacific region once a year for reports and discussion on research results as well as the facts of and problems related to privacy and protection of personal information in each country. It was the second time for it to be held at Meiji University.
