Meiji University concludes comprehensive agreement with Juntendo University

On December 18, Meiji University (Kenichi Fukumiya, President) and Juntendo University (Eiki Kominami, President) concluded a comprehensive agreement for interuniversity exchange for the purpose of promoting interchange and collaboration related to education and research activities. On the same day, a ceremony to commemorate the conclusion of the agreement was held on the Hongo-Ochanomizu Campus of Juntendo University (located in Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo).

Specific proposals of major initiatives for future collaboration between the two universities
(1) Joint research projects
(2) Collaboration between the Meiji University ELM and the Laboratory of Medical History, Juntendo University Graduate School of Medicine
(3) Cooperation by Meiji University teachers for hospitals and research ethics committees
(4) Mutual library use
(5) Collaboration between the Meiji University Center for Clinical Psychology and the Department of Psychiatry in the Juntendo University School of Medicine
(6) Establishing of a collaborative medical and health related course in the Meiji University Liberty Academy
(7) Lectures on sports and medical support for student members of the Meiji University Athletic Association
(8) Interchange involving events related to international students at both universities
(9) Lectures on medicine and experience of medical field experience for students of Meiji University Meiji High School
