Over the period December 17 – 20, 14 students in the Electrical Engineering Program at the Meiji University Graduate School of Science and Technology visited National Taiwan University in Taipei for a program including a demonstration session introducing research to students of other laboratories at the two universities, lectures by teachers, and a research-related poster session by students.
This program is devoted to scientific interchange with teachers and graduate students of National Taiwan University, the top university in Taiwan. Its objective is to have the participants experience the joys and difficulties of discussion on scientific matters using English, which is a common language for both sides but not the native language on either side, and to promote the formation of friendships among them as peers sharing the pursuit of such studies in Asia. It was taken up as a <Program of Research Interchange with Graduate Students from Other Universities> for Meiji University Graduate School system for good practice (GP) of the 2015 academic year.
This year marks the third holding of this program. It has been decided to continue developing research cooperation and interchange through it in the future as well.
