[MIMS] Professor Kokichi Sugihara Wins JSIAM Best Paper Award

Professor Kokichi Sugihara, Director of the Meiji Institute for Advanced Study of Mathematical Sciences (MIMS), was awarded the 2017 JJIAM Best Paper Award by the Japan Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (JSIAM).

The JSIAM Best Paper Award is presented to the authors of particularly outstanding papers published in the Transactions of the Japan Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (Japanese journal), the Japan Journal of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (JJIAM), and JSIAM Letters.

The award ceremony was held on September 7, 2017 as part of the JSIAM 2017 Annual Meeting on the Ariake Campus of Musashino University.
