To all students, faculty and staff of Meiji University
In response to the spread of the COVID-19 infection, Meiji University raised the Meiji University Activity Restriction Guidelines to its current level of "2" on July 12, and is strengthening infection control measures. We expect all Meiji University students to act in a socially responsible manner. We ask that you prevent infection by taking the appropriate measures, and manage your health based on the principle of "Don’t get infected and don’t infect others."
The fundamental policy for the fall semester classes starting on September 20, is based on the Meiji University Activity Restriction Guidelines Level 1. This means classes should be conducted mainly face-to-face and students are expected to attend the campuses, while taking thorough measures to prevent infection.
However, in light of the current state of the COVID-19 infection, this policy will be adjusted for the period from September 20 to October 10 during which we will mainly conduct online classes based on Meiji University Activity Restriction Guidelines Level 2. Face-to-face classes will be offered in limited numbers for some courses.
Please be sure to check current information on the implementation of each class from the Class Web "Syllabus supplement" on the Oh-o!Meiji System after September 13. Also take note of the information provided by the faculty or school office to which you belong.
Details of Class management for the Fall Semester after October 11 will be announced in end of September. Just as in the spring semester, be aware that the situation may change as the COVID-19 infection situation changes. We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.
