[Boardsailing Club] Shinnosuke Naito places third at the Windsurfing (Techno 293 Class) World Championships

Shinnosuke Naito (3rd year in the School of Law) of the boardsailing club finished 3rd in the Techno Plus Men's Class Division at the Windsurfing (Techno 293 Class) World Championships held on October 29-November 5 in Cyprus.

From Meiji, he and captain Sho Tanaka (4th year in the School of Political Science and Economics) entered as representatives of Japan. A total of eight races were held, and both contestants fought for the top places from the beginning, with Sho Tanaka also making a strong showing in 5th place. After the tournament, Shinnosuke Naito commented, "It was disappointing not to win the race, but I am happy to have the experience of being on the podium at the World Championships.”
