At the 35th Annual Meeting and Conference of The Japanese Society of Plant Morphology, held on September 6, 2023, at Building 5 of the Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University, TADAKI Ryoya, a first-year Ph.D. student in Life Sciences Program, Graduate School of Agriculture, Laboratory of Environmental Response Organelle Biology (Professor YOSHIMOTO Koki), won the Best Poster Award (one Best Poster Award was selected from 40 poster presentations) for his poster presentation entitled "Phenotypic analysis of the fresh yellow leaf morning glory, 'Moegi'."
The society was established with the aim of providing a platform for researchers in the field related to plant morphology, structure, and functions to actively discuss new technologies, theories, and research directions, fostering substantial mutual exchange. At this conference, lively discussions also took place regarding plant morphology and its functions.
