The shooting club participated in the East Japan Student Sport Shooting Championship held at Tochigi Shooting Range from August 25 to 27 and won the women's overall championship and the men's overall fifth place. Individually, three members also won prizes, including NOBATA Misaki (2nd year in the School of Commerce) achieving first place in the women's 10m air rifle category.

This tournament also serves as a qualifying event for the Kanto Student Sport Shooting Championship Fall Meeting, which commenced on September 14th, with a significant number of competitors participating in both events. MIZUNO Katsushi (General Manager, professor of School of Commerce) commented, "The fall season is packed with tournaments, starting with the East Japan Championship. We kindly ask for your continued support for the shooting club."
