[School of Political Science and Economics] Associate Professor FUJIMOTO Tokihiko's international joint research on "small hydropower generation" was published in the World Small Hydropower Development Report published by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has been publishing the Global Small Hydropower Development Report once every three years since 2013. The latest issue, 2022, has 166 countries participating.

Associate Professor FUJIMOTO has been participating in the report since 2016.In the latest issue, in addition to writing about Japan, he also wrote about the case study of the Matsukuma small hydropower plant (30kW, Yoshinogari Town, Saga Prefecture) from the perspective of "community energy." He has also participated in a thematic study on the contribution and future potential of young engineers in the small hydropower sector, and co-authored a report on the prospects of young people in the small hydropower sector.
